The Bunnings Warehouse Port Stephens team joined forces with students to plant seasonal vegetables and herbs in the school's patch.
While digging holes and planting in the sunshine, the team also spoke to the eager gardeners about healthy eating and sustainability.
Students will tend to the newly planted vegies in the hope of growing enough fresh food to use at the school canteen.
