The council will exhibit the Draft Jimmys Beach, Winda Woppa Coastal Zone Management Plan and Draft Great Lakes Beaches Coastal Zone Management Plan until Friday, May 15.
The planning proposal to amend the Great Lakes LEP 2014 Coastal Risk Planning Area Maps and draft amendments to the Great Lakes Development Control Plan will also be on exhibition. All documents are open for community comment.
Each of the documents are available at greatlakes.nsw.gov.au or in hard copy at the council offices in Forster and Tea Gardens.
The plans and information relate to the Great Lakes beaches from Tuncurry to Winda Woppa, and the land behind each.
All plans had been prepared with help from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and in response to previous community consultation to do with management of coastal risks.
