The Sydney foursome - frontman Matty Stokes, guitarist Ben Nightingale, drummer Murray Shepherd and bassist Leif Tisdell - take to the stage from 7.30pm on May 22.
Stokes, who formed the band with Nightingale and Shepherd in 2004, Tisdell joining in 2009, said they were approached by the publican to play at the popular Medowie watering hole.
"We used to love playing there," Stokes said.
"There used to be a lady who would jump up on stage with us and play the spoons.
"We're hoping she'll be there on Friday night to join us."
After six years of playing together, The Ride Ons described themselves as "rambunctious as ever" and took their bluesy, rock, swamp sound "pretty bloody seriously".
"Think Black Keys, Stones, Aerosmith and R L Burnside all having a smoky, gin-soaked game of poker 'til dawn," the band's bio reads on Facebook.
An original rock band, The Ride Ons released a six-track EP called The First Cut within months of forming.
The EP sold out almost immediately and a second released three years later enjoyed the same success.
The band released their first album, Delinquents With Hotrods, in 2009, and a third EP, Transmission: On, at the 2012 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
