Opened in June 1986, the preschool starts its 30th birthday celebrations with a reunion dinner this month.
Teacher Ruth Diemar, who took over as director six months after its opening, said the celebrations are open to all former students and their families.
"We enrol between 25-30 new students every year, so that gives us up to 900 children who have attended our preschool," Ms Diemar said.
"Many of those enrolments are the children of students who attended here in the late 1980s and 1990s."
In fact, four of the preschool committee members are former students - Emma Hamilton (president), Alex Mayne (vice-president), Kristi Stevens (secretary) and Rebecca Sumner (committee).
"The mums have taken it upon themselves to organise a series of birthday celebrations over the coming 12 months, starting with the reunion dinner," Ms Diemar said.
"One former student, Fran O'Neill, is coming from Cairns and a past president, Natalie Lyons, will travel down from Brisbane."
The dinner, which is open to all former students 18 and over and their parents, will be held at Murray's Brewery on Saturday, July 25.
Tickets, $40, are available on 4982 1899 or at the Anna Bay Newsagency.
The non-profit preschool in Fishermans Bay Road operates Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 3.15pm on a four-term year.
