Racing commences at 9am with the juniors (aged eight to 16 years) followed by the adults from 11am.
One of the club's many promising young drivers is 13-year-old Kayla Malbon, an Australian age champion who has been driving power boats since the age of eight.
Vice commodore Greg Lewis said that up to 30 boats were expected for one of the club's biggest events of the year.
"We have drivers coming from Sydney and Taree and points in between, competing in both inboard and outboard classes," Lewis said.
"The highlight will be the running of the coveted Hunter Valley championship.
"The racing is expected to be competitive and the atmosphere electric, giving spectators an experience they are likely to remember for a long time."
Entry is free and food and refreshments will be available from 9am till 4pm.
