A former Australian Davis Cup representative, Doohan has brought his junior coaching and development program to the Farm Road courts.
"It is my understanding that this is the first time in 20 years that junior tennis coaching has returned to the Fingal Bay courts," Doohan said.
"It's an exciting new venture for me and complements a similar program we are running at the other end of the peninsula at Soldiers Point."
Fingal tennis club president for the past 10 years, Carol Bergsma, said Doohan's services should attract more players to the club.
"Currently we have around 70 members, mostly seniors, using the courts almost every day, but it would be nice to increase those numbers - both juniors and seniors - and fill the courts," Bergsma said.
