Skillin, from Norah Head, claimed the title at the King of the Box surfing competition after winning the open men’s final.
Twenty-one talented surfers took part in the opens.
Dawkings placed second, Michalak – who won last year’s competition – came third and Kurtis Herman fourth.
Skillin won a trip to Krui in South Sumatra through SDNF Travel Adventures.
Dawkings, from Nelson Bay, won the Legends division, beating out Dean Shaw (second), Pete Mitchell (third) and Troy Dowker (fourth).
The junior final was won by Morgan Cibilic.
Joel Buxton placed second, Ryan Donohoe third and Adam Varvaressos fourth.
