The club held its end of year presentation at Nelson Bay Bowling Club on July 10.
The top bodyboarders in groms, cadets, juniors, masters and opens were recognised at the presentation.
Clubman of the year, Aidan Kershler, and most improved, Oscar Burgess, were also recognised.
“We have had an awesome year seeing the younger divisions stepping up in solid surf and growing confidence,” the club posted on its Facebook page after the presentation night.
“PSDB is very proud of all members involved .
“Their sportsmanship and team work in and out of the water is to be applauded.”
The next season will kick off on Sunday, August 14.
More details will be made available on the group’s Facebook page.
The club held eight competition rounds last financial year.
Results were tallied up from the eight rounds to find the top performing bodyboarders across all five divisions.
As a testament to how tough the competition was last year, some of the point scores were very close.
Others were equal.
