Brisbane’s indie rock four piece The Jungle Giants and Melbourne blues musician Ash Grunwald will headline the 2016 event, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

This year’s boutique beer festival is on Saturday November 5 and Sunday 6 November.
The Jungle Giants hits include Domesticated Man, Every Kind of Way and A Pair of Lovers. The band is playing the Saturday of the festival and is touring following the 2015 release of their third album, Speakerzoid.
ARIA award winning blues and roots artist Ash Grunwald will wrap up Bitter and Twisted on the Sunday. The sultry sounds of songs like Breakout, Walking and Longtime will finish the weekend at Maitland Gaol.
“It is fantastic to have nine well established artists and bands locked in for this year’s event,” Maitland City Council Coordinator Events Adam Franks said.
“With the event celebrating its tenth year, we are confident The Jungle Giants and Ash Grunwald, along with all the other artists, will be the perfect complement to the fantastic range of Australian craft beer and delicious food on offer as part of this event.”
