Dozens of people gathered on Sunday to celebrate the completion of the Build for Cure house that has become a labour of love as much as a fundraiser for the Children’s Cancer Institute.
Build for a cure ambassadors Scott Cam and Block winners, Brad and Lara Cranfield joined local families who have been affected by childhood cancer.
“These people aren’t asking for a miracle, just the funds to make it happen. The institute’s determination is infectious and I encourage all Aussies to give generously.” Mr Cam said.
It is hoped that more than $650,000 will be raised through the auction of the house on October 23.
