Located at 2100 Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae, near Raymond Terrace, the gardens feature five themed wedding sites and two reception areas, screened off from the elements but bathed in beauty sure to make any moment memorable.
“We can cater up to 500 for a ceremony and 150 for the reception,” manager Jennifer Mason said.
“We encourage BYO catering but can assist if required.
“Each venue is separated from the other so that the gatherings are intimate, with privacy guaranteed.
“Morning or afternoon timeslots are available and groups have the run of the gardens for photographs.”
Each of the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens wedding venues has its own atmosphere and style.
The Bush Chapel offers a perfect blend of bush and church with a natural arbour, water feature, pews, natural archway and celebrant’s lectern.
The Lily Pond has a beautiful water feature, surrounding lawn, sundial and sculptures.
The popular Blue Wren Maze has a gorgeous lawned area lined with native plants and trees.
The gardens feature five themed wedding sites and two reception areas, screened off from the elements but bathed in beauty worthy of any memorable moment.
The Water Fall Garden has a stunning waterfall backdrop for smaller weddings, while the Rotunda offers a classic Victorian design for formal outdoor ceremonies.
“Our venues are available any day of the week and, realistically, offer fantastic value,’’ Jennifer said.
“You have all-weather control over not only the ceremony but the reception, and if you’re having the reception elsewhere, we’re conveniently located to Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter surrounds.
“There’s plenty of free parking and the gardens make a classic backdrop for photography.”
