Rock glamour act All Access 80’s are billed as the band with the biggest hair and the tightest pants outside the sunset strip.
The foursome deliver a big night of 80’s rock anthems from Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Guns N Roses, to Def Leppard, Poison and Aerosmith.
Now they’re headed to Nelson Bay Bowling Club.
“It’s our first time up at Nelson Bay, so we hope to see lots of friendly faces down at Nelson Bay Bowling Club,” Jesse Jäxx, the band’s guitarist and vocalist, said.
The lovechild of Eddie Van Halen and Joan Jett, Jäxx began his career as a self-proclaimed guitar god at a very young age, bursting out of the womb and into the spotlight.
Not one to shy away from a chance to check himself out, Jäxx is also said to be credited with the invention of the ‘selfie stick’.
Jäxx can be summed up in one simple quote from his close personal friend Slash from Guns N Roses: “No comment”.
Rounding out the band is Jett Black (lead vocals, guitar), Bobby Phoenix (bass, vocals) and Mick Fury (drums, vocals).
Each has as just as interesting backstory as Jäxx.
Like Pheonix, who inherited the family fortune, generated through a hotel chain, international airline and a few other shady businesses.
Pheonix doesn’t get out of bed for less than $10,000.
Fury, recently paroled, is hungry to get on stage and rock. He provides the thumping, pulsating, driving beat to All Access 80’s (so long as his parole officer is there to accompany him every step of the way).
Somehow Jett managed to become the front man in a band through sheer persistence, but one thing is certain. He can sing.
Catch All Access 80’s at Nelson Bay Bowling Club on Saturday, April 22.
Doors open 7pm. The music starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets, available from the bowling club or by calling 4981 1272, cost $25 per person.
