The inaugural Bush Poets Cruise will bring Bringing Country to the Coast on Saturday, June 10.
Step aboard Moonshadow IV, and be entertained by two of Australia’s finest bush poets, Murray “Muz” Hartin and Bill Kearns, “the Master of Bull”. Morning tea is included.
“It’s a point of difference for our country music festival and also an opportunity to showcase our wonderful area,” festival organiser Peter Clough said.
The two hour voyage departs Dock C at the d’Albora Marinas Nelson Bay at 10am and will cruise amongst the dolphins on beautiful Port Stephens before returning at noon. Cost is $46, which includes the cruise, morning tea and entertainment.
Back up Sunday, June 11 for a fabulous Country Music entertainment luncheon cruise aboard “Spirit of Port Stephens”.
Country songstress Gina Timms, from Burnie, Tasmania, will perform during the cruise over to Salamander Shores Resort where passengers will disembark for a two course meal and more live country music.
The boat returns to d’Alboras Marina at 3.30pm with Gina belting out a few more tunes. Cost is $66 which includes the lunch, cruise and entertainment.
