While married for seven years, the pair rarely have a chance to perform together, making their Winter Warm Up tour a rare chance to see them on stage.
For those who may not recognise the name Eckersley or McClymont, the pair are country music stars in their own right.
Eckersley, from the Adam Eckersley Band, is a two-time Golden Guitarist and an APRA country song of the year winner.
McClymont has 10 Golden Guitars and two ARIA awards with her sisters, Samantha and Mollie, who together are The McClymonts.
“It’s going to be winter when we hit the road and we plan to spread some warmth wherever we go,” McClymont said.
“We love playing music together but rarely get the opportunity to, but it has worked out that both Adam and I have some time to do some shows so we thought we’d jump at it.”
Both have just come of large tours – McClymont around Australia and Eckersley throughout Europe.
A break in both their schedules during winter offered the pair a chance to hit the road together and perform a small number of intimate shows throughout July.
“We’re not too sure when the next opportunity will be for us to play shows together so we plan to make the most of it while we can,” Eckersley said.
“We can have a good laugh and chat with each other and the audience, too, which is great fun.”
The Winter Warm Up shows are described as “up close”, “personal” and “acoustic”.
Tickets, available from the club or by phoning 4982 4800, cost $20 per person.
Doors open at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.
