The only pub in Tea Gardens and for the towns of Hawks Nest, Pindimar, North Arm Cove and Bundabah is on the market.
Expressions of interest are open until Thursday, August 7.
The Examiner contacted the hotel’s owners, Rob and Lee Anderson, for comment on the sale of the hotel but did not receive a reply in time for publication.
According to the selling agency, Manenti Quinlan and Associates, the Tea Gardens Hotel has consistently traded in the nearly 70 years the Anderson family have owned and operated it.
‘‘The hotel occupies the prime commercial site within Tea Gardens,’’ a spokesman from Manenti Quinlan and Associates said.
‘‘The Tea Gardens Hotel has demonstrated a long history of consistent trading.
‘‘It has all the facilities to cater for future growth in an idyllic atmosphere offering both a business and lifestyle opportunity.’’
The hotel is built on a 3646-square-metre block of land directly across from the Myall River waterfront and contains bars, an enclosed beer garden, two children’s play areas, gaming room, TAB and Keno, dining room and manager’s residence.
It also includes 21 motel suites.
