Much like the real life Rat Pack of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis jnr, the Tap Pack is a group of friends who, backed by a live band, deliver a fun-filled show of crooning and tap.
The five-man ensemble is Jordan Pollard, Jesse Rasmussen, Thomas J. Egan, Daniel Raso and Christopher Horsey.
Dressed in slick suits and equipped with sharp wit, the Tap Pack sing, dance and joke on stage.
The Tap Pack will perform four shows at Newcastle Civic Theatre.
The first show is 8pm on Friday, October 24, with two on October 25 at 2pm and 8pm.
The final Newcastle performance is on Sunday, October 26, at 7pm.
Tickets, available from Ticketek or from the Newcastle Civic Theatre website, cost $41.80 for concessions and $49.96 for adults.
The Examiner has one double pass to give away to the Sunday show.
To win the pass, send your name and contact details in an email titled "Tap" to ewatts@fairfaxmedia.com.au.
The winner will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday, October 22.
