Port Stephen’s longest-operating cruise company is offering local children a chance to get on the water free (accompanied by one paying adult) on one of Moonshadow-TQC’s fabulous boats during the spectacular Australia Day sail past at Nelson Bay.
The sail past, starting at 10.30am off Fly Point, will have six of its fleet involved.
Patrons have the choice of a 1.5 hour cruise or two hour cruise departing from d’Albora at 10.30am only for this offer.
“It’s our way of saying thanks to the community, come on board, and we’ll shout the kids,” Mel Turner, Moonshadow-TQC Cruises sales and special events coordinator, said.
“What better way to appreciate Australia Day then to get the kids out and about on the water to see what’s in their backyard.
“On top of being part of the sail past, they’ll get the chance to spot our resident bottlenose dolphins and have fun on the boom net and slides.
“It’ll be a fantastic fun day out, a spectacular sight from land or water and we’re endeavouring to get as many locals involved as possible.”
Bookings must be made over the phone for this offer, and some limitations may apply, so call early on 4984 9388.
