Andi Law, 14, and Ava Forster, 11, were part of the touch football teams that represented NSW in the Games, which are widely known as the highest level of school sport.
In addition to playing in silver medal-winning NSW sides, Forster was named player of the final in the under-12 division.
Law’s under-15 side were named in the All Australian Merit team.
About 4000 students from at least 15 countries, including from each Australian state and territory, competed in the Games, which is held every two years.
The 10th Games were held in Adelaide at the beginning of December. The Games include 10 sports, which are decided across 10 days of competition.
Additionally, students take part in an opening ceremony and an athlete Olympic education program held at Adelaide University.
Law, who attends Tomaree High School, was selected for the Games based on her performance at the NSW CHS Touch Football Championship held in July.
The Anna Bay teen and five of her CHS tournament teammates were selected to play on NSW’s under-15 side at the Games.
Forster, who attends Anna Bay Public School, was a member of the Hunter team that played at the PSSA Touch Football Championship in August.
She was selected to represent NSW at the Games based on her performance during the three-day tournament.
In addition to playing touch for their schools, Law and Forster play representative-level football for Nelson Bay Touch Association.
The under-12 and under-15 NSW teams almost mirrored each others results in the Games.
Both sides only lost one of their six games. In each loss it was in round three against Queensland.
In the finals, the two NSW girls teams were beaten by QLD.
Under-12s were defeated 6-1 and under-15s 4-2.
