The well-established Coliseum in Mayfield accommodated some dealers, others retired and nine dealers re-located to Australia’s second largest river port, only to Sydney in the 1820’s – Morpeth, Hunter Valley, NSW.
Since March, these nine dealers have grown to twenty one, all housed under the one roof in the 180 year old sandstone Campbell’s Store, which was ‘the place to shop’ in it’s hey day.
Settlers travelled on foot, by cart and on steam ships to Morpeth, founded in 1821. Not much has changed, so why not relive your history and passions by visiting Morpeth Antique Centre.
