With a ‘one stop shop’ approach, the health care provider has left no stone unturned, offering medical, allied health services, paediatric services and even a cafe all under one roof, via multiple businesses.
“The whole idea, begins Business Manager, Catherine Burford, “Was to bring a complete health care service to the community, giving patient families access to a full spectrum of services without having to travel to different locations.”
While the medical centre has been operating from the Williamtown location for 12 months, it’s only recently that all of the additional services have moved into the building.
Along with 5 doctors at the clinic, there’s a suite of allied health services offering physio, exercise physiology, psychology, pathology, speech pathology, a dietician, podiatry services and occupational therapy.
Patients can book direct or consult with one of the medical centre’s GP’s to get a referral.
“Our whole philosophy is to keep our patients in good health and keep them out of hospital,” continues Catherine.
“The well being of our community is our priority, and ensuring that everyone has accessible health expertise close by is the foundation of our thinking.”
The well being of our community is our priority.
- Catherine Burford
The latest addition to the building is Happy Dots, providing occupational therapy for children.
It’s a service, says Catherine that is highly sought after by clients.
“Happy Dots and A Growing Understanding Speech Pathology provide an essential service to families and children in the community - there’s been a big gap locally for people seeking clinics of this kind, so we are absolutely thrilled to have them join us.”
