It's a night to reflect on the achievements of businesses in the area and to celebrate outstanding service that comes with dedication and commitment.
The Port Stephens Examiner has long been a proud sponsor and organiser of this important occasion.
On Wednesday, October 31, the wider community will come together at the Shoal Bay Country Club for a night of celebration in what has become a significant event in the Port Stephens calendar.
The Port Stephens Examiner is proud of its long-standing association with this major civic event, hosted again this year by Australian Community Media group marketing and promotions manager Ross Melville, and welcomes all attendees, entrants, Port Stephens Council representatives and local business leaders.
Each finalist has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to providing vital services to our community. They have worked tirelessly through the year making an invaluable contribution to the local community while supporting and encouraging each others success.
Participating in the awards gives businesses the opportunity to self assess, refine their goals and further expand their reach with their audience.
Winning is not only prestigious, but brings with it unique marketing benefits.
The Examiner saw a significant increase in the number of votes submitted into the 2018 awards, and some of the highest experienced in recent years with votes around the 10,000 mark.
By filling out the details on the voting form, voters go in the draw to win a prize a $1000 shopping spree to Salamander Bay Square which is drawn out of the barrel at the awards night.
Whether you win or are acknowledged, the Port Stephens Examiner Business Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to come together and have some fun.
Those attending get the chance to frock up and let their hair down in what is the highlight of the local business community calendar.
The Examiner also offers thanks to the night's major sponsors:
- Port Stephens Council
- Forever Hair & Beauty
- Shoal Bay Country Club
- Medowie Family & Sports Physio
- Tomaree Business Chamber
