Police issued 85 speeding tickets, 104 fines for other driving offences such as using a mobile phone and two for restraint offences during Operation Drink Drive 1, conducted February 15-17.
A total of 4170 breath tests were also done in the district across the three days with one returning a high range result.
A 25-year-old man was stopped at Tomago about 11pm on February 16. The driver underwent a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.
A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.218.
The man was arrested and his licence was suspended. He was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for high range drink driving and will appear at Raymond Terrace Local Court on April 8.
