A 21-year-old woman will appear in court next month after being charged for a fatal crash in Raymond Terrace in December.

It comes after a 58-year-old man died on December 8, 2019 when the red Holden Astra he was driving northbound along Richardson Road - around Grahamstown Dam - collided in the northbound lane with a blue Toyota Corolla travelling southbound shortly before 11am.
The driver of the Astra died at the scene.
The passenger of the Astra, a 62-year-old woman, and the 21-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Corolla were both taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment to their injuries.
Hunter Crash Investigation Unit officers arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.
Following police inquiries, the woman attended Raymond Terrace Police Station on Wednesday where she was arrested and charged with drive in a manner dangerous occasioning death, cause bodily harm through misconduct, negligent driving occasioning death, negligent driving, not keep left of dividing line; and drive with illicit drug in system.
The woman was granted conditional bail and will appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on Monday, February 24.
