The community choir will host its popular NSW Seniors Festival concert at Soldiers Point Bowling Club from 2pm on February 21.
The concert will be themed 'As Time Goes By' to mark 10 years since the choir's first seniors festival concert. It is free to attend for 100 seniors aged 60 and above.
"Our 10th concert will feature the title song and some other well-known oldies, as well as a sprinkling of some catchy newer ones," SeaSide Singers president Jeanette Antrum said.
To register attendance to the seniors concert contact Antrum as soon as possible on 0418 266 393 or jaf.antrum@gmail.com.
The SeaSide Singers are currently recruiting new members for 2020.
"No auditions required, just a love of singing and the ability to sing in tune," Antrum said.
The choir meets at Tomaree Library and Community Centre each Tuesday from 7pm.
In addition to new members, the SeaSide Singers are also seeking a new music director for 2020. Having completing his three-year term with the choir, Ellery Durrant has stepped aside leaving the position of music director of the group open.
Enthusiastic musicians or music students interested in the position are asked to contact Antrum. Music and conducting experience is desirable, but not essential. The fee paid will depend on the successful applicant's qualifications. The start month is March.
