"I have been posting a range of free basketball training drills for junior players of all ages and skill levels to do at home daily whilst in isolation. Anything from ball handling, to defensive drills to shooting," Howard said.
"I came up with the idea of helping with the development and skills training when the social distancing guidelines started rolling out.
"Initially, the videos were aimed at those basketball players that I coach in Port Stephens but it has become bigger than I expected, reaching juniors from all across the state from beginners to state representative players."
Howard said that he had been receiving some encouraging feedback from kids.
"I am now also receiving videos from kids doing their own drills which is great to see. Even though we are all in isolation it feels like I'm still connected within the basketball community."
He said that he would be posting new videos every few days.
"There are already quite a few drills up so players can make up their own sessions or do a different session every day."
