The NSW Bureau of Meteorology has forecast possible showers on Monday, but mostly sunny weather from Friday.
Some roads in Port Stephens remain closed due to damage while others still have water over the surface.
Nelson Bay Road has reopened to northbound traffic but is closed to southbound traffic between Frost Road and Salamander Way.
Alternate routes include Gan Gan Road and Frost Road, as well as Port Stephens Drive.

- Marine Drive, Fingal Bay - near Barry Park
- Moorooba Crescent, Nelson Bay - near Stockton Pond
- Old Swan Bay Road, Twelve Mile Creek - Medowie Road to Pond Road
- Riverside Drive, Karuah
- Teramby Road, Nelson Bay - one lane closed
Water is still over the road at:
- Elizabeth Avenue, Raymond Terrace
- Fullteron Cove Road, Fullerton Cove
- Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay - between Old Main Road and Blanch Street
- Swan Bay Road, Swan Bay - near number 898
Fisherman's Bay boat ramp, Samurai Beach and the Worimi Conservation Lands are also closed to the public.
