It was another beautiful beach day for Dale Bragg when he happened to snap an incredible sight - a pod of dolphins passing a paddler at Birubi Beach.

Mr Bragg was on duty at the popular Port beach on Thursday, April 15 flying a shark surveillance drone for Surf Life Saving NSW, which he has now done for two seasons.
"I always monitor the swimming areas and keep an eye out for any surfers further out," Mr Bragg, from Corlette, said.
"On a routine flight, I noticed the dolphins passing through then saw the paddle boarder.
"The pod was heading straight for him. It was just too good not to take a quick photo.
"The guy's daughter was not far behind him. The guy approached me later on to ask if I'd saw how close they came. He was ecstatic when I told him I'd captured a photo of it."
The picture of Neil and the pod was snapped just after lunch time, about 150 metres off the beach.
Mr Bragg moved to the Bay from the UK eight years ago.
