Across the Easter weekend – from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, April 19 to Sunday, April 20, from 9am to 2pm – hundreds of shoppers are expected to walk through the doors of the Hawks Nest Community Hall to snatch up bargain books.
‘‘The book sale has been running for about seven years and it has increased in the numbers of people coming,’’ Rotarian Ray Harrison said.
He said crowds would fill both the main hall and supper room.
‘‘The hall gets full – we’re shoulder to shoulder.’’
Everything from literature to autobiography, cooking, motor and children’s books will be sold by Rotarians.
Mr Harrison said they had up to 500 boxes of books but were still taking donations.
Unwanted books can be dropped off at Pelican Pest Control Shop, 211 Myall Way.
