Alan and Kate Triscott were wholeheartedly welcomed into the fold.
Mr Triscott was co-founder of Little Athletics Australia.
Longtime member John Bourchier was congratulated on reaching 90 years of age and presented with his nonagenarian certificate.
Next month will be Doug Pratt's turn.
On a sad note, life member Tony Pett, who was the last remaining foundation member, inaugural secretary and past president of the club, died on August 17. He was 90.
Mr Pett and his wife, Pam, contributed much to the club for 30 years.
He was also a historian for most of that time.
Mr Pett took hundreds of photos for the club, the majority of which have now been scanned and digitally saved in the club's computer records.
He supervised the yearly tree planting for outgoing presidents and maintained the club's flora garden adjacent to Port Stephens Community Arts Centre for many years.
He also conducted first aid courses for members and wives.
President George Hammond described Mr Pett as the "shining light" of the club and he will continue to be just that.
He will always be remembered for his dedication to the club's welfare and development.
Mr Pett received his nonagenarian certificate last October and was still attending meetings earlier this year.
He will be greatly missed by his family and members of Probus Club of Port Stephens.
