A MAN has been charged with the alleged attempted armed robbery of a Raymond Terrace pharmacy earlier this year.

An arrest warrant was issued for the 20-year-old following an attempted robbery of a Benjamin Lee Drive pharmacy on July 13.
It is alleged the man, from Raymond Terrace, walked through the exit door of the pharmacy armed with an electronic, Taser-like device and threatened staff.
No one was injured and nothing was taken during the ordeal, which police in July lasted no more than 30 seconds.
About 5.45pm on Thursday, October 1, police attended a residence in Richardson Road, Raymond Terrace where they arrested the man.
He was taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station where he was charged with attempted armed robbery and revocation of parole.
The man was refused bail and was due to appear at Raymond Terrace Local Court today, October 2.
