Opera singer Joelene Griffith, from Newcastle, will headline the Musical Matinees’ show called Sensual Spring Spectacle.
The show will be held in the Chris Walking Theatre at St Philip’s Christian College in Salamander Bay from 2pm on Sunday, September 18.
Griffith is set to put on a spring-inspired show featuring Mozart arias and ensembles from The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, La Clemenza di Tito and The Marriage of Figaro.
The special guest artist will be Angus Johnson who will play the recorder.
The Choir V and The Baroque Band will give their usual performances.
The audience will be able to sing along in some parts.
Hallam Ingram and Buckley Ingram, brothers and students of St Philip's Christian College, will emcee the show.
Tickets, $35 each, will be sold in Salamander Bay Shopping Centre between 10am and 4pm on September 11 but are also available online from Sticky Tickets or on the door on the day.
