Community and support service organisations including Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre, Gan Gan Centre, Port Stephens Community Drug Action Team, Alesco, DARA food van, Community Transport Port Stephens, Ability Links and All Saints – to name a few – will take part in the connect day on Thursday, March 8.
Services will be on hand at Salamander Bay Square between 9am and 5pm to share information about their organisations.
The aim of the day, organised by an interagency committee, is to create awareness about what services are available to the Tomaree community, and connect individuals with groups who can assist them.
Organisers added that the day is about making local connections and building a healthier, happier, safer and more inclusive community.
