Community groups across the Port are gearing up to take part in one of the state’s most recognised fund-raising events, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

The event raises money for the Cancer Council NSW and encourages participants to share a cuppa and raise a dollar or two for the not-for-profit organisation.
The Ladies Craft Group of Terrace Quilting is set to host a such an event on Monday, June 4.
A donation of $5 will get you tea, coffee and slices from 10am.
The event will be held at Terrace Quilting at 21 King Street, Raymond Terrace with three prizes of handmade crafts on offer in a $2 raffle.
Meanwhile, NewsXpress at Salamander Square will also hold a Biggest Morning Tea on June 12 between 10am and 12pm.
