Members of the Medowie golf club raised $1100 for the Rural Fire Service brigade through the monthly raffle and were due to donate the sum in March.
Due to the COVID-19 lockdown early during the pandemic in March, the presentation was put on hold.
Now out of the height of the pandemic and fear of infection calmer with COVID-safe protocols in place, on October 22 Pacific Dunes golfers were able to present a cheque for $1100 to members of the Medowie Rural Fire Brigade.
Phillippa Kearney, Mary Patterson, Ross Worley and Jan Ayre from Pacific Dunes presented the cheque to Medowie Rural Fire Brigade members Louise Morgan, Peter Smith and Ross O'Neil.
"We wanted to recognize the efforts of the local rural fire services after a terrible summer of fires in NSW," the golfers said of the donation.
