F/A-18A/B Hornet aircraft from No. 75 Squadron and F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No. 3 Squadron will conduct night flying activities from RAAF Base Williamtown in support of Exercise Tasman Shield until Thursday.
The exercise began on Monday. Jets will be flying each day until 10.15pm.
"Residents should note that the date and time for this activity are subject to variables such as weather and operational availability, and may change," the RAAF said.
The exercise will see the jets fly in restricted and danger areas.
"Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military activity, and Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the Hunter community during training activities," the RAAF said.
