The re-elected president, Pauline Parrish, welcomed the new committee and thanked those who did not seek re-election.
Pauline is joined on the new committee by Yvonne Barber, Christine Portelli, Donna Marshall and Cheryl Miller, Jayne Kilbride, Christine White and Marilyn Williams.
The president thanked former publicity officer Denise Sharp, handcraft officer Glynis Durrant and events coordinator Juliet Harrison for their service and efforts to support the auxiliary.
Glynis volunteered many years to the handcraft officer position and has been an inspiration to the sewing circle.
At the AGM, Pauline also thanked the auxiliary's many community supporters who donated, attended the Easter stall and Legacy markets during the past year.
Money raised by auxiliary is used to purchase equipment in need by Tomaree Community Hospital.
The work of the auxiliary was also supported in the past year by generous donations from the Lutheran Church and Nelson Bay Bowling Club.
Through raffles, individual, group and business donations and charity collection boxes in the Nelson Bay area, the auxiliary raised $46,554 in 2020 and 2021 for the hospital.
Ann Watson, an auxiliary volunteer for more than 20 years, was congratulated for her service at the AGM and presented a badge representing her dedication.
