The Port Stephens Council's Boating and Fishing Infrastructure Plan will consider what improvements, modifications and investments can be made to fishing and boating facilities and to prioritise projects and funding.
Asset section manager John Maretich said community input was being sought for the area's boat ramps, wharves, pontoons and jetties.
"We want to make sure our fishing and boating facilities can sustain the future recreational visitor demand, so we're asking residents and visitors to participate in a short online survey. Those that complete the survey will go in the draw to win a $50 gift card."
