The Raymond Terrace Uglies Golden Oldies, Nelson Bay Grey Gropers and Central Coast Seagulls joined the Marauders ay Boyd Oval from some light-hearted, and light hitting, rugby.
"It was a great atmosphere with lots of laughter and lots of spectators cheering us on," Medowie club president Renee Goreham said. "The Old Boy rounds were postponed in 2021 and 2020 due to COVID."

Sunday's game started about 11am. After 20 minutes on the field, play stopped for a 'drink break'. Players had a sip of port - an Old Boy game tradition. No score was kept and the teams switched up over the course of three 20-minute matches.
Goreham and Stacey Whelan, players for Medowie's women's team, joined the Marauders Old Boys on the field on Sunday.
The next Old Boys game will be hosted by Central Coast on June 5 followed by Southern Beaches June 26 and Raymond Terrace July 24.
PORT Stephens Men Of League's annual fundraiser, held on the weekend of May 21-22, was a great success.
Despite the inclement weather, the golf classic went ahead at Nelson Bay on Sunday with a field of 152 players, comprising of 38 teams. In the spirit of the day, players stayed the course in tough conditions. Groups from all over NSW travelled to the Bay, with strong teams hailing from the Upper Hunter, Sydney and Narrabri. There was also plenty of local support.
The winner of the prestigious Ross Gigg Memorial Trophy went Ricky O'Shannessy, Thomas Ainsworth, John Morgan and Danny Mamo.
Winners on the gymea course were the Cooper gang, Cameron, Len and Michael, combining with big hitting James Marshall to post the good score of 53.5. Christmas bush course winners were Eric Kidd, Lachlan Lawson, Chris Togon, Shaun O'Malley with 54.7. The brushbox course winners were Josh Finney, Greg McCrudden, Zach Semmens and Chris Matonhelli with 60.6. Mixed winners were Mathew, Ryley, Kain and Katherine Bliss.

RAYMOND Terrace Rugby League Club playing at Lakeside had a mixed Saturday in wet conditions.
The men's C-grade team posted a strong 42-6 win over the Abermain Hawks. The Magpies adapted to the conditions with a far superior completion rate and had the Hawks on the rack leading 20-6 at half time. Players' player was tough front rower Connor O'Neill. In form second rower Kurt Langdon was strong. Flying winger Isaac Bower scored two tries, as did Tom Reynolds. Tackling tyro Will Turpin had a great game in defence.
The lady Magpies also had a good result, defeating Tea Gardens 14-0 with Bree Richardson and Shenae Handsaker having strong games.
The men's D-grade team went down to Tea Gardens in a close one, 34-22. The Terrace's defence leaked several tries with the Hawks capitalising on lazy defenders. Players' player went to fullback Max Goodwin. Front rowers Nick John and Thomas Jenkinson were strong up front, while rookie hooker Lachlan Ward had a great game in his first senior match.
This Saturday the Terrace will celebrate the Indigenous round with all the teams playing at Lakeside.
