Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club will host the 13th annual Masters Carnival on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

The carnival will feature age groups ranging from 30 to 34 years to 70 and above.
The events include sprints, flags, beach, relays, 2km runs, swim, board, ski and iron man.
Organiser Steve Westcott said that the Masters always produced great days at Fingal Beach and that officials would be required on the day. For more information anyone interested can contact Westcott at training@fingalbeachslsc.com.au or on 0414 627 399.
Also in 2019, the Fingal Surf Club will host the Hunter Branch open championships on February 9, members will compete in the nippers carnival at Catherine Hill Bay on January 12.
The Hunter Branch age and masters championships will also take place at Fingal Beach on February 9 and 10. Open and age events will be featured on both the Saturday and Sunday, and the masters will be included on the Sunday.
