In their third consecutive grand final appearance, Nelson Bay's under-13, division one team coached by Richie Kincaide will face Wests at St John's Oval in Charlestown from 9am.
The team finished the regular season in fourth position having won eight games in a tough season that saw a never ending injury toll.
"However each week, often with little or no bench, they have turned up, dug deep and find themselves still standing, tall and proud," the club said about the team.
The club's under-14 boys coached by Aaron Mullins will face Cardiff in the grand final at Toronto and the under-16s coached by Ben Heyward will play Souths at Cardiff.
The talented under-12 team coached by Ji Hill bowed out in the major semi-final to Belmont 14-0 in just their second loss of the year.
The Bay club will have their resources stretched to the max this weekend with committee members and supporters away with grand final teams but also hosting the Newcastle Junior Rugby League grand finals for the 10, 11 and 13 age groups.
A total of 14 grand finals will be played at Salamander Bay sports complex from 7am on Saturday, August 24.
Rising star from the Nelson Bay club, Jarrod Williams, has been selected in the Newcastle representative team to play in the Country Championships at Port Macquarie in September.
