While rain kept numbers down on Saturday, visitors attended in droves on Sunday to celebrate the end of a month-long Love Seafood extravaganza featuring food, wine, music and good times.
Tomaree Business Chamber president Leah Anderson estimated a turn out of more than 12,000 people across the two days. "I believe this could have been the biggest Tastes ever," she said.
"There was something for everyone, great food and wine and the Hot Potato Band managed to stop people in their tracks with their impromptu performances.
"I want to thank Destination Port Stephens, all the sponsors and the many volunteers who helped make the event such a resounding success."
