The Sharks senior men were able to call on contributions from several batsman as they made 7/156 in a rain-reduced 32 overs against Stroud in the Dungog one-day semi-final on Saturday, February 22.
Col McCarthy led the way making 39 at the top of the order. Brad Pinch made 37 and Josh Simms 30.
The Karuah bowlers were miserly restricting Stroud to 6/112.
Alexander Sinclair took 2-24 and Jordan Barry picked up 2-26. Simms and Pinch both picked up a wicket each.
Stroud get to call on their double chance and will face Wallarobba in the preliminary final at Bennett Park on February 29.
The grand final will be held at Bennett Park in Dungog on Saturday, March 7 starting at 1pm.
The weekend before they cemented their grand final spot, the Sharks secured the minor premiership. They have been undefeated all season.
