The Bomboras ladies league tag team finished their regular and dominant season in style with a 30-0 win over Greta-Branxton.
The side, who finish the regular NHRL season in second place just two points behind Aberglasslyn, produced some fine attacking raids against Greta-Branxton to run in seven tries.
Goal kicking proved to be mission impossible in Saturday's gale force winds.
Try scorers of the game were players' player Nicole Bennett with three tries, Hannah Robinson who scored a double, Bree Napoli and Lydia McQueen, who each crossed for four pointers.
Meanwhile on Saturday, the Bomboras men posted a narrow 26-18 loss to the Glendale Gorillas.
The side was under the pump early in their clash with Glendale and trailed 18-4 at halftime.
They showed plenty of determination to get back into the contest to level it 18-18 in the final quarter.
The bench were down on forward strength and struggled to make their forward rotations with several bombed tries compounding the problem.
Players' player was tough front rower Danny Read. Classy five eight Liam Walsh and Liam Dooley had strong games, with Jack Hutchinson providing some spark to the attack off the bench.
The Bomboras' forward pack ready will be ready to fire after the long weekend when four forwards return in time for the side's clash with Northern Lakes in the semi-final on October 10.
It will be a local clash for the ladies in semi-final game one with the Bomboras to face Raymond Terrace Raves on October 10.
