The work, which will include inspecting and servicing the lift span system, maintenance and repairs, is to ensure the bridge continues to provide safe journeys for all road users.
To minimise impact to motorists, work will be carried out overnight for four nights from Monday, March 15 between 8pm and 5am.
The southbound bridge lanes will be closed while work is carried out. Motorists will be diverted onto the northbound bridge, which will have one lane operating in each direction.
Closure of the pedestrian footpath will also be required, with traffic control on site to ensure safe escort of pedestrians across the bridge while work is carried out.
Boaters are advised the bridge will not open to marine traffic during work hours.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
