Capping off his time at the small Woodville-based school, the year 6 student was presented the award and medal at an end of year assembly by the Federal Member for Lyne, Dr David Gillespie.
"Congratulations to Banjo on receiving the Premiers' Sporting Challenge Award," Gillespie said. "The Woodville local sportsman has been recognised for his achievements in cricket, soccer, rugby union and netball."
Each year, the 10 regional school sport associations are eligible to pick two suitable candidates to receive a Premier's Sporting Challenge Award.
The medal is intended to acknowledge one student in each school for their outstanding commitment to fair play, effort and improved performance in a sporting context and contribution to the school's weekly sport and physical activity programs.
Gillespie said it was "well deserved" for Banjo to receive the award and medal.
