The annual survey provides residents with an opportunity to provide feedback on the council's performance across a range of areas including waste, facilities, development applications, parks and gardens.
"Port Stephens Council is committed to continuously improving its performance and service delivery for our community," Port Stephens Council general manager Wayne Wallis said.
"Our annual Community Satisfaction Survey is a great opportunity for residents to let us know how we're travelling and also have input on how we can improve the range of services council provides to the community.
"The community is at the heart of everything we do and the feedback we receive is essential to ensure we meet the needs of the residents and provide high quality services.
"I'd encourage everyone to complete the survey and have their say."
In the 2018 survey, 1352 people responded. The report revealed that of those surveyed, 84.87 per cent were satisfied with the council's services.
The 2019 survey is open until 5pm on Friday, June 28 with results proposed to be published on Port Stephens Council's website in August.
Surveys can be completed online through the council's website or in person at the council's Raymond Terrace administration building, Raymond Terrace Library or Tomaree Library.
Port residents are also being invited to have their say on how libraries in the area are performing.
Port Stephens Council's annual Library Satisfaction Survey is open until 5pm on Friday, June 14.
Find the survey online through the council's website, collect a paper copy at any of the Port's library branches, or phone (02) 4988 0255 to arrange a paper copy and a reply-paid envelope to be sent out.
