A fire burning at One Mile, near Anna Bay is being brought under control, though residents are still being urged to monitor conditions closely.
Easing conditions have helped firies gain an upper hand on the blaze, currently at Advice level, which was initially fanned by gusty southerly winds.
Police have blocked traffic at Gan Gan Road, from Frost road to the One Mile Caravan Park and according to one witness, a number of fire trucks and choppers are in attendance.
According to the Fires Near Me RFS app, residents in the the area of Melaleauca Avenue and Eucalyptus Drive at One Mile are advised to monitor conditions.
