Fingal Twilight Market
May 14: Fingal Bay foreshore (next to surf club). Time: 12-pm-4pm.
A market by the Fingal Bay foreshore that supports local makers and producers. The Honey Duo will be providing live music throughout the market day.
Tilligerry Motorama
May 15: Tilligerry RSL and Sports Club, Tanilba Bay. Time: 9am-3pm. Cost: $2.
Tilligerry Auto Club's motorama returns on Sunday on the grounds of Tilligerry RSL. Hundreds of vintage, classic, custom and muscle cars plus bikes will be on display. There will be a show and shine with the judging presentation at 1pm and raffles, drawn at 1.15pm. Money raised supports charities.
Bird walk and talk
May 17: Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, Heatherbrae. Time: 8am. Tickets: $25 per person.

King Street Heritage Festival
May 21: King Street, Raymond Terrace. Time: 9am-2pm.
A day for people of all ages to step back in time, dress up, enjoy some good old fashioned activities, music, dance and historical displays along the original main street of Raymond Terrace. Festival highlights include trips on the the historic William the Fourth vessel, a faux wedding under the marriage trees, penny farthings, the Marching Koalas, the Men's Shed Band, the 40th Regiment of Foot reenactments and market stalls.

Book Fair and Gardens Open Day
May 28-29: Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, Heatherbrae. Time: 9am-4pm.
This free weekend welcomes visitors to explore the gardens, the plant stall and book fair. The Gardens will host an open day on the Sunday from 10am-2pm. It will include guided tours, live music and market stalls.
