A MAN shot in both thighs at Corlette on Saturday is refusing to help police investigating the matter.

Emergency services were called to a home in Guyang Street at Corlette just after 10.30pm on April 2, where they found a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds to both thighs.
The man was taken to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle where he received treatment for suspected broken femurs, police said.
Port Stephens detectives established a crime scene at the home, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
The injured man is not assisting police with inquiries, a police statement said.
