The 31-year-old woman who went missing from Clarence Town on Thursday 8 February 2018 has now been located safe and well.
Police would like to thank the community for their assistance.
EARLIER REPORT
Police are appealing for the public’s assistance to locate a Clarence Town woman who has been missing almost one week.
She was last seen by relatives at a home in Clarence Town about 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 7.
She left the residence for a medical appointment in Clarence Town in a silver Mazda bearing NSW registration number CI97WF.
Shortly after 4pm on Thursday, February 8 the woman sent a text message to a relative saying she was trying to sell her car.
Police and family have serious concerns for her welfare, as they have not seen or heard from her since.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of solid build, with brown eyes and blonde hair.
She is known to frequent the Newcastle area.
